Future electricians and solar installation technicians worked with equipment and practiced professional skills. On August 21, the training cycle ended with graduation. We show what participants learned to do, include photos from practice and graduation, as well as the actual number of graduates. The "New Opportunities for a Dignified Life" project is implemented by NGO "BezmezhniMy" with the support of the Belgian agency for international cooperation Enabel.

During the meeting, representatives of the non-governmental organization, the college, and employers discussed opportunities for vocational training and subsequent employment of project participants. An important outcome of the meeting was the signing of a trilateral memorandum of cooperation between NGO "BezmezhniMy", Nemishaieve Professional College, and business representatives. Such a partnership combines three vital components of professional start: quality education, practical training, and real employment opportunities. Within the project, participants have the opportunity to master professional skills in areas related to electrical installation work and installation of solar energy systems. Training combines theoretical preparation with practice so that acquired knowledge can be directly applied at work. Involving employers in the project helps take into account real labor market needs and train specialists with skills required by the modern energy sector. For NGO "BezmezhniMy", this is another step toward creating a system in which vocational training becomes not just an opportunity to gain new knowledge, but a pathway to a new profession and self-reliance. The "New Opportunities for a Dignified Life" project is implemented by NGO "BezmezhniMy" with the support of the Belgian agency for international cooperation Enabel within the "Jobs for the Future" program in partnership with educational institutions and employers.

The story of Lyudmyla, an internally displaced person from the Zaporizhzhia region, who, after relocating with her family, was not afraid to start life from scratch and, with the support of a state grant program and guidance from our organization, opened her own hair salon, Lysi.

After being forced to relocate in 2022 due to the war, Lyudmyla decided to continue developing professionally. She completed advanced training courses in hairdressing and, despite having no previous entrepreneurial experience, decided to start her own business.

With the support of our organization, she received assistance with grant applications, business registration, and консультаційний супровід on every stage of launching her business.

The support helped cover the key startup expenses, including rent for the premises, workspace arrangement, purchase of professional equipment, tools, and materials needed for work.

Today, Lysi hair salon is a modern and cozy space created through hard work and belief in one’s own strength. For Lyudmyla, owning a business has become not only an opportunity for professional growth, but also a symbol of a new chapter in life and confidence in the future.

“Even after difficult changes, it is possible to find the strength to start over. The most important thing is not to be afraid to take the first step,” Lyudmyla shares.

This partnership is not just a formality.

It is about real actions, meaningful support, and creating opportunities for people who need assistance and a new start in life.

As part of the cooperation, we plan to implement activities focused on:

— training and educational programs;
